This is a classic example of when we tell you to listen to what the oddsmakers are telling you and use that knowledge against them! The No. 1 team in the nation is more than a touchdown underdog. This last happened two years ago in the national championship game when top ranked Notre Dame was getting 9.5 to Alabama and got crushed.

This is the same Miss State that was only good enough to make our preseason No. 28, while Alabama was No. 2. The regression to the mean is told to us by the oddsmakers.

Now Miss State is the hunted. Alabama has a long history of coming up big in situations like this. It is a blowout.
