Three of Texas State's home games have been at home and one was at a neutral site in Houston. This will be Texas State's first road game and trip outside of the state so far. Troy is 1-4, but have road loses to Memphis and Iowa, along with at home by two to an improved Nevada team and underrated UL Monroe team.
Troy is without their starting quarterback Goose Crowder, but he was not great this season and believe they have enough to cover led by their ground game.
