T.M. Selection: Alouettes/Elks OVER.

1) I look for plenty of points in this one Friday as Elks looked great on offense last week but their defense struggled. The yardage gained on offense was there for Edmonton but they could not get enough stops.

2) Montreal off the big win at Winnipeg and they scored 27 points and should move the ball well here but their defense facing a bigger challenge than a Blue Bombers team that is now a disappointing 0-2 on the season.

3) The Elks struggled with just 4 wins last season and it looks like their defense might do them again this season but the positive signs from the offense could surprise the Alouettes here.

4) Montreal off a big win last week and their home opener is next week and I expect a letdown from the Alouettes defense after the big effort at Winnipeg last week.
