Interleague Money-Maker MLB
(MLB) Philadelphia vs. Boston,
Money Line: -111.00 Philadelphia (Away)
Result: Loss
T.M. Selection: Phillies.

1) The Phillies entered this series off a loss in London Sunday in a game they essentially gave away. As I expected with my play here yesterday, they would bounce back on Tuesday as Philadelphia has been so strong off a loss. The reason to ride them again here is the one fear I had - jet lag - was clearly a non-issue.

2) Philadelphia does have some injury issues with Turner and Marsh still out and Realmuto now out for a bit. Now there is value as the price on a great Phillies team (tops in majors along with Yankees) and also Sanchez is a solid but under-rated pitcher!

3) I give Cristopher Sanchez (2 earned runs or less in 9 of his 12 starts) the edge here over the Red Sox righty Nick Pivetta (0-3 with 4.29 ERA in night game starts) facing his former team.

4) Considering the pitching edge plus the Phillies fantastic record this season this is a great price overall and that is the bottom line here. -110 is a steal!

T.M. Prediction: 5-3 Phillies.
