T.M. Selection: Michigan State.

I like Michigan State to cover the spread against Purdue in this game on Saturday. Michigan State is ranked 3rd in the country at the moment and have finally worked themselves into a college football playoff spot. I think they are going to do whatever they can to make sure that they hold on to that spot. That means that they have to pull off a convincing win in this game and I think they can do that. They have looked good in conference play this year but it was their last game that was really impressive. Before that game, they were winning games with their defense keeping a lot of them low scoring. They got down a lot in their last game and against a good team and great defense in Michigan but they were able to collect themselves and pull off a giant comeback winning the game late with no time left on the clock. That takes a lot of heart to do so I think this is a very tough team that can get the job done here and do what they need to do to keep their playoff spot. Purdue is nothing special and their offense doesn't really put up a ton of points in their games. I think Michigan State can pull away from them here and cover the spread in this game.
