No need to overthink this one. This is a major mismatch, both on the mound and at the plate. In fact, I say the talent discrepancy between these starting pitchers absolutely warrants in laying the 1.5 runs on the Dodgers on the runline option. Miles Mikolas has a decent 14 to 5 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 16.1 innings of work. He gave up four runs over three innings to the Reds in his last outing though. Clearly, the sample size is too small for Mikolas this season to come to any conclusive conclusions. Max Scherzer on the other hand has posted a 1.29 ERA, a 0.77 WHIP and a 50 to 5 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 35 innings for his new team, going 4-0 in that span. Enough said! The play is LA on the runline!
