The Arizona Coyotes were shutout by the Islanders Saturday as they failed to make it four wins in a row. They will be looking to pick themselves up as quick as possible tonight as they will host a Dallas Stars team who has dropped all of its last seven games. There's little doubt the Stars are the better team though, and I like the price we get on the dog in this match-up.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Rising Stars - Look at the Stars roster and you have to wonder how this team is capable of going on such a win drought. Maybe Tyler Seguin's three goals in the 5-3 loss against the Sharks Saturday is a sign of better things to come after him going without points for four straight games. Seguin has 10 goals and 19 points for the season which ranks among the best in the league, and it's only a matter of time before the rest of the juggernauts on the team wakes up as well. Expect Jason Spezza to get on the scoresheet as he has seven goals and 10 points in seven games against the Coyotes.
2. The Coyotes defense - The Stars defense has not played up to par so far this season ranking second worst in the league. The good news for Dallas is that the Coyotes D has been rather atrocious as well.
3. X-factor - Three of the the Stars four wins this season have come away from home.
Selection: This is a play on the Dallas Stars (10*)
