The Dallas Stars will be looking to snap a five game losing streak as they'll host the Nashville Predators tonight. The visitors are in the middle of a six game road and are coming off a 3-1 loss at Winnipeg on Tuesday. I think we're getting a good price on Dallas who is looking good to change its luck tonight.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. The Predators special teams - Not only is Nashville ranked in the bottom three on penalty kill, its also in the bottom four when it comes to their own power-play. The Stars are pretty average in both categories, but this will be as good of an opportunity as any to improve on those stats as opponents have gone 5 for 9 with the man advantage in the Predators' last three games.
2. Home Cookin' - Yes, it is true that the Stars have struggled at home this season only picking up one win on six attempts. They did however win all three home meetings with the Predators last season and the visitors have dropped seven of the last 28 in Dallas.
3. X-factor - The Predators will play their fifth consecutive road game in eight days and I would not be surprised to see them struggle to match the intensity of a desperate Dallas team.
Selection: This is a play on the Dallas Stars (10*)
