At 7:15pm ET, my May Game Of The Month is on the Los Angeles Dodgers. Walker Buehler is back! After 2 starts to find his footing, his first 2 since 2022, Buehler found his groove last start. He delivered 6 shutout innings, striking out 7 Cincinnati hitters. He may not be quite as dominant as he once was but only 3 runners reached base. Buehler threw 55 of his 78 pitches for strikes and threw first-pitch strikes to 16 of 21 batters.

After that game, Buehler commented: “I think I was pretty good at one point — I’ve started Game 1 of playoff series and opening day, and things like that — and I want to be really good again. But I think I can be really good at 93-95 [mph], like I was tonight."

The Dodgers also lost 3 in a row last month. They responded with a 10-0 victory in their next game! They are 24-12 in night games and 91-45 their last 136 tries, off a loss. They will play like the best team in baseball tonight. Play on Los Angeles!
