At 9:07pm ET, my #1 NHL Non-Conf. GOW is on Carolina. Nice start for the Flames but they are about to start coming back down to earth. The Hurricanes are 6-2 the past 8 meetings with the Flames and they won the last one 7-2. The Hurricane had a 40-20 edge in shots. This is a very good Carolina team which prides itself in winning on the road. They won at Edmonton last game are 2-1 away from home so far. Last season, they were 25-16 (25-13-3) on the road. Only Florida and Dallas had more road wins and they each had 26. The Flames have been outshot in four of their last five games, including by a 38-25 margin against Pittsburgh in their last game. It will catch up to them tonight.
