Playing back-to-back games this early in the season, when they're already dealing with a lot of injuries, and off a loss like that will be difficult for them. This is the home (and season) opener for the Red Wings. Sports teams are thriving in Detroit these days and Red Wings are also poised for an exciting season. The home team won all 3 meetings last season, the Penguins took both at Pittsburgh and the Wings won 6-3 in Detroit. Overall, the Wings were 23-18 at home and the Penguins were 15-26 on the road!
