The Argos’ defence was their signature that carried them to a 2022 Grey Cup victory. Monster DL Oakman is missing but his running mate Hendrix is back so the Argos D is mostly intact. They are up against a young QB Cornelius who is having confidence problems and an Elks’ O-line that is in disarray. They should keep the Elks’ offence under wraps.

On the other side of the ball first year QB Kelly has depended on the run game to score. The Elks have not allowed any rush TDs so far this season and held powerhouse BC to 22 points and Saskatchewan’s effective passing attack under veteran QB Harris to only 17 points.
