Rogers' SURE SHOT >> Had Vancouver 5-1 Last Night!
(NHL) Edmonton vs. Minnesota,
Money Line: -153.00 Minnesota (Home)
Result: Win
The set-up: The Edmonton Oilers have surprised all season so far and take a 14-11-4 record into their game in Minnesota tonight against the 13-8-4 Wild. The Oilers are concluding a three-game road trip with back-to-back games, coming off last night's 6-5 loss in Philadelphia. Minnesota concluded a five-game, 10-day road trip Sunday in Edmonton (won 2-1 in OT) and then watched star goalie Devan Dubnyk deny the Toronto Maple Leafs again and again in a 3-2 Wild win on Wednesday at home.

Edmonton: The Oilers are hoping to avoid finishing their road trip without a victory when they visit the Minnesota Wild on Friday. Edmonton settled for one point in the opener on Tuesday, squandering a 3-2 lead in the final minute of the third period at Buffalo before falling in overtime, and came up empty in Philadelphia two nights later as it dropped a 6-5 decision after blowing a two-goal advantage over the final 13 1/2 minutes. The loss to the Flyers ended a four-game point streak (2-0-2) for the Oilers.

Minnesota: Dubnyk has been Mr. Everything for the Wild all season but especially recently. He's 11-6-3 on the season, with a 1.65 GAA and .946 save percentage. He has gone six starts without a regulation loss, posting a 4-0-2 record while allowing more than two goals just once in that span.

The pick: The Wild were able to win last Sunday in Edmonton 2-1 (OT) and I'll ride Dubnyk again in this one. Minnesota is an 8* play.
