10* NFL Game of the Week (Will Rogers) >> Top Play in Week 13!
(NFL) Miami vs. Baltimore,
Point Spread: 3.50 | -105.00 Miami (Away)
Result: Loss
The set-up: It sure looked like it was going to be another ‘lost' season for the Dolphins when they lost 30-17 at home to the Titans in Week 5. Miami has gone seven years since its last playoff appearance (2008), the team's lone postseason appearance in the last 14 years. However, the Dolphins will take a six-game winning streak (and a 7-4 record) into its game at Baltimore on Sunday to face the 6-5 Ravens. Baltimore opened this season 3-0, lost four straight but has then won three of four to remain tied with the Steelers for first in the AFC North.

Miami: Miami's first-year head coach Adam Gase has made a number of adjustments which have helped QB Ryan Tannehill, not the least of which has been improving his footwork. Tannehill has responded with his best year as a pro (66.0% completions for 2,574 yards with 15 TDs and 8 INTs for a 94.7 QB rating), including nine TD passes and just one INT during Miami's six-game winning streak, earning a QB rating of 104.7 in that span. RB Ajayi (847 yards on 5.3 YPC and 7 TDs) has provided some balance, as Miami is rushing for 116.0 YPG, 6th-best in the league. The Dolphins are a middle-of-the-pack defensive team though, allowing 21.8 PPG (16th) on 361.9 YPG (21st).

Baltimore: The Ravens will provide Tannehill with a real test in this one, as their defense is second overall in yards allowed (297.8 YPG) and 4th in points allowed (18.3 PPG). Baltimore's offense has not performed well in 2016, as QB Flacco has thrown for 2,877 yards with just 11 TDs and in 11 games (it's helped that he has just six ‘picks'). The running game hasn't produced all season, averaging 84.8 YPG (28th) and overall, Baltimore's average of 19.8 PPG ranks 24th. The good news for Baltimore fans is that the Ravens are on a 32-15 SU run at home during the month of December and that Flacco owns a 4-0 career mark against the Dolphins with a 105.6 QB rating.

The pick: The bad news for Baltimore is that the Dolphins are on quite a roll and while some may say that they are "winning ugly," the key is that they are winning. The Ravens are just 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 home games when favored and I want any points available with the Dolphins, making them a 10* play.
