The Kansas Jayhawks are asked to cover a bunch of points in their Sweet 16 match-up versus Maryland, but the Jayhawks have crushed opponents winning 16 straight. The majority of those wins came by a double-digit margin, and I don't think it's asking too much for Kansas to beat up on an overrated Maryland team.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - Kansas has been a spread covering machine, going 13-3 ATS in it's last 16 overall. The Jayhawks are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 neutral site games. They've won nine of 10 games at neutral sites this season, scoring an average of 81.2 points on 49.7 percent shooting.

2. Step Up In Competition - The Terps failed to impress, losing four of their final six games of the regular season. They have had an easy road to the Sweet 16, playing a pair of unranked teams from smaller conferences. They've lost their last three versus Top 25 teams (Indiana, Purdue, Michigan State), and they are 1-4 ATS in their last five NCAA Tournament games.

3. X-Factor - The Jayhawks are 18-6 ATS in their last 24 non-conference games.
