ROGERS 10* COACH'S CLINIC!
(NHL) Philadelphia vs. NY Islanders,
Money Line: -135.00 NY Islanders (Home)
Result: Loss
The New York Islanders are a team currently holding one of the wild-card spots in the East that the Philadelphia Flyers are trying catch. The Islanders have lost three straight and five of their last six, but desperation breeds motivation and I think they'll deliver a win in front of the home-town crowd tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - Each of the Islanders last five losses have come on the road and they've won six of their last seven at Barclays Center. They've won four straight when the Flyers have come to town, the most recent a 3-1 win on Nov. 25.

2. The Islanders Offensive Potential - One of the reasons we are getting such a good price on the home team tonight is the fact that they've scored only 10 goals during a 1-3-2 stretch. This is however a team that is in the league's top third offensively and is averaging 3.18 goals per game in its own building. It's only a matter of time before the floodgates are open and the goals are pouring in again.

3. X-Factor - Philly mustered only 17 shots on goal in a 4-1 home loss against Pittsburgh Saturday. It has won only two of the last eight meetings with a division-rival.

Selection: This is a play on the New York Islanders (10*)
