Result: Loss
The Detroit Pistons opened a nine-game homestand with a 115-108 win against the Kings last night. The win put an end to a two-game slide and I think we might see the Pistons come out less focused in tonight's meeting with the Brooklyn Nets.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Situational - The Nets are off a 118-102 blowout loss at Chicago Thursday but are a perfect 5-0 ATS in their last five following a straight up loss of more than 10 points and 8-1 ATS in their last nine games following a ATS loss.

2. Previous Meetings - Detroit has won two of three meetings this season but two of the meetings were decided by five points or fewer. The Nets are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in the series and 5-2 ATS in the last seven at The Palace.

3. X-Factor - Brooklyn's center Brook Lopez scored just nine points in Thursday's loss to the Bulls but had averaged 23.6 over the previous seven contests. He should get plenty of open shots in the paint today with the Pistons on a back-to-back.

Selection: This is a play on the Brooklyn Nets (10*)
