The Oklahoma Sooners had won five of six before getting knocked out of the Big12 Tournament by West Virginia. They head into the first round of the NCAA Tournament as a heavy favorite over CSU Bakersfield, but this looks like a complete mismatch. My money is on Oklahoma.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - The Roadrunners didn't face a ranked opponent this season, but they did have a couple of double-digit losses in non-conference play. They lost by 35 points at St. Mary's, and by 16 points at Arizona State.

2. Buddy Hield - The senior guard is one of the top players in the country, averaging 25 points per game during the season. He hit a three-point shot at the buzzer against West Virginia that would have given the Sooners the win, but video review showed that the shot came a little too late, and did not count. He went off for 39 points on 14-of-21 shooting in the win over Iowa State in the previous game. He's likely to have a big game here in Oklahoma City.

3. X-Factor - The Sooners have hit 42.6 percent of their three point attempts this season, and leading scorer Buddy Hield is hitting 46.4 percent from beyond the arc for the season.
