The Arizona Coyotes will make the second stop of a five-game road trip when they visit the Red Wings in Motor City Thursday night. Five of the last seven head-to-head meetings have gone over the total, and I expect another high-scoring encounter tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Detroit's Recent Games - Only one of the Red Wings last six have seen less than five goals scored. They defeated the Sabres 5-4 in a shootout two days ago as Justin Abdelkader broke out of an offensive slump with a pair of goals and an assist.

2. Road Woes - The Coyotes lost 5-2 at Nashville Tuesday and have surrendered a total of 20 goals over their last five away from home. The over is 6-2-1 in their last nine road games.

3. X-Factor - Arizona has converted on six of its last 20 chances to play with a man advantage.
