*10* Total MASSACRE on UNDER Jets/Capitals.

The Washington Capitals opened the week with a 1-0 win against Edmonton Monday. They have allowed the third fewest goals in the league at 2.2 per game, and I think we'll see a low-scoring contest when they host the Winnipeg Jets at Verizon Center tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. The Jets' Struggling Offense - Winnipeg has only two wins over its last nine games, with a total of 18 goals scored over that span while converting on just one of 24 on the power play opportunities. It is third last in the league in power play goals with 0.5 per game and tonight it will come up against a Caps team that has surrendered just one power-play goal through the last five games.

2. Trends - Each of the Jets last four overall and 12 of the Caps last 16 at home have gone under the total.

3. X-Factor - Braden Holtby has posted a 1.42 GAA in his last seven starts.
