*8* SURE SHOT on Philadelphia 76ers.
The Boston Celtics are coming off back-to-back defeats at Brooklyn and Atlanta. Tonight they're back home at TD Garden hosting the lowly Philadelphia 76ers who are still looking for their first win of the season. I still think the visitors are catching too many points though and I like their chances of keeping this a close game.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Philadelphia Heading In The Right Direction - The 76ers opened a six-game trip with a 113-88 loss at Charlotte, but they've kept the last two games close losing by only five points at both Miami and Minnesota. At this point it's only a matter of time before they record their first outright "W" and why not against a struggling Celtics team tonight?.
2. Boston's Recent Struggles - The Celtics allowed both the Hawks and the Nets to make more than half their shots in their most recent losses. They're not doing nearly as well on offense themselves, and the front court in particular has struggled with the starting trio combining for a pathetic total of 33 points through the last two games.
3. X-Factor - The 76ers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games.
Selection: This is a play on the Philadelphia 76ers (8*)
