The #2 ranked Maryland Terrapins are 3-0, and they will be a big favorite tonight versus the 2-2 Illinois State Redbirds. We've seen the Red Birds suffer a pair of double-digit losses already this season, and I think this looks like a good spot to back the favorite with a relatively low number.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - The Terps are 12-2 in their last 14 games dating back to last season. Their losses during that span came at the hands of Michigan State, and West Virginia. They have covered the spread in 13 of their last 18 neutral site games.

2. Free Throws - The Redbirds have been really struggling at the charity stripe, hitting an abysmal 54.8 percent for the season. They hit just 9-of-18 free throws in a win over Houston Baptist in their last game.

3. X-Factor - The Redbirds are 7-15 ATS in their last 22 games overall.
