The Golden State Warriors finished last season with the league's best record, and went on to win the NBA Championship. They host the New Orleans Pelicans tonight, a team that they swept in last year's playoffs. The Pelicans are a young team with plenty of upside, but their still a few years away from being a true contender in the West. I like the Warriors to win by double-digits on Opening Night at home at Oracle Arena.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - The Warriors were 39-2 at home during the regular season last year, while the Pelicans have failed to cover in five of their last seven on the road.

2. Previous History - The Warriors have won eight straight regular season games at Oracle Arena, and 11 of those wins came by double digits. One of those was a 112-96 win over the Pelicans.

3. X-Factor - Golden State scored 136 points on 54.7% shooting in a blowout win over the Lakers in their final game of the pre-season.
