Point Spread: -6.00 | -115.00 Pittsburgh (Home)
Result: Win
The Steelers host San Francisco on Sunday, and Pittsburgh has had plenty of time to rest prepare for this contest coming off a Thursday night game in the season opener. The Niners on the other hand are coming off a short week, coming off a shocking home win over Minnesota on Monday night. San Francisco was expected to struggle this year, and while that wasn't the case at home, it may prove to be the case here on the road in Steel Town.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Ben Roethlisberger - Big Ben played well on the road in the loss to the Patriots, throwing for 351 yards with 1 TD and an INT on 26-of-38 passing. He was 6-2 at home last season, and he threw for 24 TDs and just four picks in those games.
2. Niners One Dimensional - The good news for San Francisco is that Carlos Hyde looked great running for 168 yards and a pair of TDs last week. The bad news is that they did nothing in the passing game, with Kaepernick throwing for just 165 yards on 17-of-26 passing. If forced to abandon the run, San Francisco could be in big trouble.
3. X-Factor - The Steelers are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
Selection: This is a play on the Pittsburgh Steelers (10*)
