1. Pitching - Jered Weaver will be on the hill for the Halos, and he's had a pretty rough year. Weaver (7-10, 4.71 ERA) allowed a pair of runs on five hits over six innings in a home win over Houston in his last start. He's 3-8 with a 6.24 ERA in a dozen starts on the road, and one of those losses came at Safeco. The Mariners counter with Hisashi Iwakuma, who is 7-2 with a 2.83 ERA lifetime versus LA.

2. Batter versus Pitcher - The Angels lineup is batting just .230 over a combined 209 at bats versus Iwakuma, and Albert Pujols is hitting .182 with eight strikeouts in 33 at bats.

3. X-Factor - Robinson Cano has owned Jered Weaver, hitting .372 in 43 career at bats.
