1* Free Pick from Will "The Coach" Rogers:
The Dodgers come into Anaheim tonight as winners of six of their last seven, and they've won six straight against the Angels. There's every reason to expect that trend to continue here, as Zack Greinke gets the start, and he owns the lowest ERA in the major leagues.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - The Angels send Nick Tropeano to the mound, and the rookie has been hit hard in his last two starts. Tropeano (1-2, 5.51 ERA) has given up 10 runs on 15 hits over 10.1 innings in back-to-back home losses to Chicago and Texas. Greinke on the other hand is 7-1 with a 1.99 ERA in his last nine starts. He's also 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA versus the Angels this season.
2. Mike Trout - The Angels slugger has really cooled off in the second half, batting just 2.69 since the All Star break. He hit a dozen home runs in July, and just two since.
3. X-Factor - The Halos rank dead last in the major leagues batting just .234 in the second half of the season. Albert Pujols struggled aren't helping, he's hitting just .222 over the last seven days, and just .230 since the All Star break.
