The Coach's MLB Runline PUNISHER

Point Spread: 1.50 | -170.00 San Diego (Away)
Result: Loss
Point Spread: 1.50 | -170.00 San Diego (Away)
Result: Loss
The San Diego Padres are riding a four-game winning streak and have won seven of their last eight. I think they're showing great value on the runline tonight when facing a Miami Marlins team that has lost four on the bounce.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - The Fish hand the ball to Jose Fernandez (4-0, 2.53 ERA) who's 3-0 with an 1.89 ERA in three home starts for the year. He held the Nats to one run on four hits in six innings his last start, but also gave up four free passes and have walked seven over his last three outings. The Padres will counter with James Shields (8-4, 3.77 ERA) who is 1-1 with a 2.12 ERA over his last three turns. He's 6-2 with a 3.45 ERA versus Miami in his career but has allowed just one earned run over 32 innings to go 3-0 in the last four meetings.
2. Road Warriors - The Padres have won each of their last four away from home straight up and they're 33-22 on the runline in road games this season.
3. X-Factor - Miami is 1-4 in its last five games with umpire Adrian Johnson behind home plate.
Selection: This is a play on the San Diego Padres +1.5 (8*)
