Rogers' 10* Coach's Clinic - Very Early Start
(MLB) Toronto vs. Oakland,
Money Line: -104.00 Oakland (Home)
Result: Loss
The Toronto Blue Jays and the Oakland Athletics are both 3-2 since the All Star break and they've split the first two of this three-game set at O.co. Coliseum. I like the A's to claim the series with a win in front of their home-fans this afternoon.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Jays will hand the ball to R.A. Dickey (3-10, 4.70 ERA) as scheduled starter Drew Hutchison has been scratched due to illness. The veteran knuckleballer is still looking for his first road-win for the season going 0-7 with a 5.60 over nine starts away from home. He's also win-less during the day going 0-4 with a 4.56 ERA in eight outings so this is not an ideal spot for Dickey who'll be matched up against Scott Kazmir (5-5, 2.38 ERA). The 31 year old southpaw is coming off 8 1/3 innings of one-run ball against the Twins and he's 3-1 with a 1.35 ERA over his last seven starts.

2. Poor Dogs - The Blue Jays have lost six straight coming in as an underdog. The A's meanwhile are 5-1 in Kazmir's last six starts as a favorite and 12-5 in their last 17 games as a favorite overall.

3. X-Factor - Kazmir has the current Blue Jays team limited to a .214 team batting average over 98 at bats.

Selection: This is a play on the Oakland Athletics (8*)
