1* free play on the Colorado Rockies...
The Colorado Rockies won at home in the series opener versus Arizona last night, and it was their third straight victory at Coors Field. I think the Rockies have the upper hand here in Game 2, as Arizona sends a struggling rookie pitcher to the mound.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Alan Webster will be on the mound for the Diamondbacks, and he's off to a terrible start. Webster gave up six runs on five hits over just five innings in a home loss to the Angels in his last start. He also walked five batters in that game, and he's issued more walks so far than he has strikeouts in his two appearances. The Rockies counter with David Hale, who has a winning record (2-1) at home.
2. Nolan Arenado - The 24 year old is hitting .385 with four home runs during a 10 game hitting streak, and he was 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs and four RBIs last night. "I've just been putting some good swings on the ball and luckily they have been going out. It's just nice to hit the ball hard and help my team win." said Arenado.
3. X-Factor - The Diamondbacks are 16-33 in their last 49 road games vs. a right-handed starter.
