The Texas Rangers have won four of their last five, and 14 of their last 20, yet they are an underdog here against the White Sox who have lost eight in a row. Texas upset the Sox with their ace on the mound last night, and this afternoon they appear to have the edge when it comes to the starters.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Rangers will send Nick Martinez to the mound, and he's undefeated on the road this season. Martinez (5-2, 2.76 ERA) gave up three runs on eight hits over seven frames in a home loss to the Twins in his last start. He's been far better away from the Ballpark in Arlington (a hitter's park). The right-hander is 3-0 with a 1.47 ERA on the road. The White Sox will counter with Carlos Rodon, who is coming off the worst start of his career.

2. White Sox Bats - Chicago has totaled just six runs over it's last six games (all losses), and only the Philadelphia Phillies have scored fewer runs among major league clubs.

3. X-Factor - The Rangers are 7-0 in Martinez's last 7 road starts.
