They host Philly this afternoon, and another pitcher's duel is expected here in this one. Given the trend of low scoring games at PNC Park of late, runs should be at a premium in today's contest.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - Cole Hamels will be on the hill for the visitors, and the southpaw has already beat the Pirates once this year. Hamels (5-5, 3.19 ERA) gave up a pair of runs on five hits, while racking up nine Ks in seven innings in a home win over Pittsburgh back in May. He won his last visit to PNC Park, giving up two runs on five hits in seven innings. The Pirates counter with A.J. Burnett, who is 6-2 with a 2.11 ERA so far.

2. Phillies Bats - The Phillies have scored a major league low 197 runs in 63 games, and they've only scored 93 runs on the road in 32 games.

3. X-Factor - The Pirates have seen the total go under in eight straight at PNC Park.
