The Houston Astros were swept in Toronto, and they'll look to get back on track against the White Sox in Chicago tonight. Houston is an underdog, despite the fact that the White Sox are nine games back in the standings. I'll take the visitors on the runline.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - The White Sox will hand the ball to Chris Sale, who has been having another fantastic season. Sale (5-2, 3.27 ERA) pitched seven shutout innings, fanning 13 in a win at Texas in his last start. He's picked up four of his five wins on the road. The Astros counter with Lance McCullers who pitched a complete game in a win over Baltimore in his last outing.
2. White Sox Bats - Chicago has scored a total of 200 runs so far this season, only Seattle has scored fewer amongst American League teams.
3. X-Factor - The White Sox are 1-6 in their last 7 home games vs. a right-handed starter.
Selection: This is a play on the Houston Astros +1.5 (8*)
