The Cardinals have taken two of three in L.A., and they wrap up this series with the Dodgers on Sunday night. St. Louis has won four of it's last five, while the Dodgers have lost seven of their last 11. I'll take the hotter team as an underdog in this one.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Zack Greinke will be on the mound for the Dodgers, and he's win-less in his last five starts. Greinke (5-1, 1.97 ERA) gave up five runs on 10 hits over six innings in a no decision at Coors Field in his last outing. The Cardinals counter with Lance Lynn, who's coming off an impressive showing. Lynn (4-4, 3.03 ERA) hurled 7.2 scoreless frames in a 1-0 win over the Brewers.
2. Cardinals Bullpen- Only the Royals have a better bullpen than St. Louis, as their relievers own a National League best 2.09 ERA.
3. X-Factor - The Dodgers have only won four of the last 11 in this series, and two of those wins came in one-run ballgames.
Selection: This is a play on the St. Louis Cardinals +1.5 (8*)
