The Coach's MLB Very Early SURE SHOT
(MLB) Minnesota vs. Boston,
Money Line: -158.00 Boston (Home)
Result: Win
The Red Sox have had a disappointing start to the season, and poor performances from their starting pitchers has been one of their biggest problems. They turn to a red hot rookie here today, and if he looks anything like he did in his debut they should have an excellent chance of winning Game 2 versus the Twins.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Red Sox hand the ball the ball to 22 year old southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez, who was brilliant in his debut, tossing 7.2 innings of scoreless ball in a win at Texas. The Twins will counter with veteran lefty Phil Hughes, who has had a disappointing start to the 2015 season. Hughes has been known to give up a lot of home runs in his career, and that might not bode well here at Fenway.

2. Batter vs. Pitcher - Boston has hit Hughes pretty hard, with the current lineup batting .314 in previous meetings. Nobody has seen more of him than Dustin Pedrioa, who is hitting .342 with five home runs and 14 RBIs over 38 career at bats.

3. X-Factor - The Twins have lost four in a row, scoring just two runs in their last four games at Fenway.

Selection: This is a play on the Boston Red Sox (8*)
