(MLB) Arizona vs. Milwaukee,
Money Line: -109.00 Arizona (Away)
Result: Loss
Money Line: -109.00 Arizona (Away)
Result: Loss
The Arizona Diamondbacks entered this three-game series at Miller Park as losers in four of their last five but have claimed the first two games 7-5 and 7-3. The reeling Milwaukee Brewers have lost seven straight, and I don't see them breaking their luck today.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Milwaukee will hand the ball go 24 year old Tyler Wagner who will make his MLB debut today. He's posted a 5-1 record with a 2.01 ERA in nine starts with Biloxi this season but has never pitched above Double-A, and he might be in for a rude awakening regarding the difference between the minors and the majors. The D'backs will counter with Chase Anderson (1-1, 2.59 ERA) who has conceded two runs or less in seven of his nine starts on the year. He's been particularly efficient on the road where he's 1-0 with a 1.79 ERA in five starts.
2. Home Woes - The Brew Crew are just 8-20 at home at Miller Park for the year and they've lost each of the last four when hosting Arizona.
3. X-Factor - Paul Goldschmidt is on fire, going 6-for-10 so far in the series and he went deep not just once, but twice, in yesterday's contest.
Selection: This is a play on the Arizona Diamondbacks (10*)
