The Tampa Bay Lightning are coming into this clash with a 2-1 lead in the Eastern Conference finals series. They've taken the home-ice advantage away from the Rangers, and I don't see them giving it back that easy. Tampa Bay is always hard to beat home at Amalie Arena, and I'm backing the home-team tonight.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. The Lightning's Surging Offense - Tampa Bay has scored 13 goals in this series, 12 in the last two games alone. Tyler Johnson is on fire, with four goals and two assists over the three games in the series and Tampa Bay's Triplets (Johnson, Ondrej Palat and Nikita Kucherov) have combined for 25 of Tampa Bay's 47 postseason goals and have proved to be too quick for the Rangers in previous match-ups. Henrik Lundqvist has a mere .856 SV% in the series and I bet he'll be in for another rough evening.
2. Situational - The Lightning have won six of the last seven meetings and are 6-1 in their last seven games playing on one days rest.
3. X-Factor - The Rangers have been unable to contain the Lightning's high-octane power play unit which is 5-for-12 so far in the series.
Selection: This is a play on the Tampa Bay Lightning (8*)
