The Houston Astros are tied with the Kansas City Royals for the AL lead with the Detroit Tigers sitting two games back. It was however the Tigers who prevailed in extra-innings yesterday when the two teams opened a four-game set at Comerica Park, but I like the Astros to execute revenge tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Astros will hand the ball to Collin McHugh (5-1, 4.09 ERA) as he'll be looking to stay dominant on the road. He's 2-0 with a 3.08 ERA over four road-starts on the year and 4-0 with a 2.39 ERA in his last eight road starts last season included. The Tigers will counter with Alfredo Simon (4-2, 3.04 ERA) who is 0-2 in his last four starts, surrendering 12 runs on 27 hits over 23 innings, and gave up a season-tying high four walks his last start.

2. Situational - The Astros have won eight of their last 10 Game 2s of a series while the Tigers are 1-6 in their last 7 in this situation.

3. X-Factor - Jose Altuve has gone 2-for-3 with a double in previous meetings with Simon.
