The Dallas Mavericks return home after losing the first two games of this series in Houston, and they are also down a couple of star players. The Mavs will need to regroup, and if they are going to get back into this series they'll have to do it without Rajon Rondo and Chandler Parsons. Dallas still has plenty of experienced players to throw at the Rockets, so don't expect them to roll over in Game 3.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Home Cookin' - The Mavs bost a solid 27-14 home record, and they've won six of their last eight home games versus Houston. They will know that playing better defense will be the key tonight, if they hope to get back into this series.
2. Previous History - The under is 7-1-1 in Mavericks last 9 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600, and Houston has seen five of it's last seven road games fall short of the total.
3. X-Factor - Former Defensive Player of the Year Tyson Chandler had no answer for Dwight Howard in Game 3. He's going to have something to prove here at home, and I would expect a player of his caliber to respond with a far better effort defensively after getting burned badly in Game 2.
Selection: This is a play on the Rockets@Mavs to go UNDER the total (10*)
