The Mavericks had no answer for the Rockets potent offense in Game 1, losing by a score of 118-108. They know they aren't going to get back into this series unless they can tighten up defensively. After such a high scoring series opener, the total for Game 2 is sky high, and I think the value lies with a play on the under.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - These teams had seen the total go under in four straight meetings prior to Game 1, and the Mavs have seen the total go under in six of their last eight road games versus a team with a winning record.

2. Injuries - Chandler Parsons returned from a knee injury to play 37 minutes in Game 1, but he only managed to score 10 points on 5-of-15 shooting. He's officially listed as questionable to play here in Game 2.

3. X-Factor - The total for tonight's game is higher than it has been in any of the last 10 meetings between these two teams.
