"The Coach's" NHL Playoff ANNIHILATOR
(NHL) Calgary vs. Vancouver,
Money Line: -145.00 Vancouver (Home)
Result: Win
The Calgary Flames claimed the first game in this series against the Vancouver Canucks 2-1 Wednesday. The Nucks will now come in desperate to not go to Calgary down 2-0, and I'm backing the home team to get the job done tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Another Game, Another Comeback - The Flames did it again Wednesday. They were trailing 1-0 coming into the third period but managed to claw themselves back in the game and tallying the winner within regulation. It was their 11th win of 2014-15 when trailing after 40 minutes, and you could argue whether this is a strength or a weakness. I'm going with the latter as the team just has to run out of luck soon considering how often it puts itself in tough situations early on in the games.

2. Situational Trends - This should prove to be a good situational spot for Vancouver. It has won five of its last six after conceding two goals or less in its last time out and eight of its last 11 when its opponent scored two goals or less in their previous game. Calgary meanwhile is 0-5 in its last five when its opponent allowed two goals or less in its previous game.

3. X-Factor - Daniel Sedin has now gone 12 postseason contests without a goal despite firing six of the Nucks 30 shots Wednesday. It's only a matter of time before he breaks his luck, and considering he had four goals in four games in April prior to that game it'll most likely happen sooner rather than later.

Selection: This is a play on the Vancouver Canucks (7*)
