"The Coach's" MLB Late Show SPECIAL
(MLB) Arizona vs. San Francisco,
Money Line: -175.00 San Francisco (Home)
Result: Loss
The San Francisco Giants are once again suffering from a World Series hangover, sitting dead last in the NL West with a 3-7 record. They'll try to turn things around on Thursday, and I like their chances with their ace on the mound.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Giants will hope Madison Bumgarner can bounce back from a rough outing against San Diego, where he was tagged for five runs on 10 hits in just three innings. We'll have to chalk that up as an off day, as he was as dominant as usual in his season debut against the D'Backs, allowing one run over seven innings. Arizona will counter with rookie Archie Bradley, who is making just his second career start.

2. Previous History - Bumgarner was 2-0 with a 2.22 ERA in four starts versus Arizona in 2014. The Giants have won four of their last five home meetings against the D'Backs.

3. X-Factor - The defending champs need a win badly and after getting manhandled by Colorado, should be very happy to see the D-Backs.

Selection: This is a play on the San Francisco Giants (6*)
