The *10* "Coach's Clinic" - Signature Play
(MLB) Minnesota vs. Chi White Sox,
Money Line: -146.00 Chi White Sox (Home)
Result: Win
The Minnesota Twins and the Chicago White Sox were both swept in their opening set of the series and have split the first two of this three game series at Chicago. I think the White Sox will be the ones coming out of this rubber-match with their heads held high.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The White Sox will hand the ball to Chris Sale who will make his first start of the season. The 26 year old southpaw is coming off an extraordinary 2014 where he was 12-4 with a 2.17 ERA. Nine of those wins came over 15 starts at home and he was 2-0 with a 2.95 ERA on the season against the Twins. The visitors will counter with Phil Hughes who was rocked at Detroit in his season opener. Hughes surrendered four runs on eight hits over six innings of work and could be in for another rough outing tonight if history is any indication. He faced the White Sox over a total of 20 innings last year over which he gave up 16 runs, four earned, on 25 hits.

2. Phil Hughes' Slow Starts - No one should be surprised that Hughes struggled in his first outing of the season. We can expect it to go on for another couple of months as he is 6-13 with a 6.15 ERA in 29 career starts in March and April.

3. X-Factor - Chicago's Jose Abreu is 4-for-10 over his career against Hughes.

Selection: This is a play on the Chicago White Sox (10*)
