The Houston Astros and Texas Rangers will battle it out in Arlington this afternoon in Game 2 of this series between the two Texas teams. Houston took the series opener by a score of 5-1, but I like the Rangers to even the series here today.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - Yovani Gallardo will get the nod for the Rangers, looking to bounce back from an Opening Day loss at Oakland. He comes in with good numbers versus the Astros, going 3-1 with a 2.41 ERA in five starts versus Houston since 2012. The Astros hand the ball to Roberto Hernandez, who makes his 2015 debut. He was crushed in his only start in Texas over the last three seasons, giving up six runs on eight hits over 6.2 innings.

2. Batter vs Pitcher - Prince Fielder, Leonys Martin and Elvis Andrus have all hit the veteran Hernandez hard in past meetings, combining to go 10-for-21.

3. X-Factor - The Astros have lost 20 of their last 27 visits to Texas

Selection: This is a play on the Texas Rangers (10*)
