The Brooklyn Nets were on the wrong side of a blowout in Atlanta on Saturday, losing by a score of 131-99. They return home to host Portland tonight, and they need all the points they can get, with a half game lead on the eighth place Celtics, and only a game and a half lead on the Pacers and Heat who currently sit 9th and 10th respectively.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - The Nets have have won four straight at home, and one of those was an upset of the red hot Cleveland Cavaliers. They are 5-0 ATS in their last six home games against teams with a winning road record.

2.Blazers Rest Players - LaMarcus Aldridge, Nicolas Batum and Chris Kaman are all slated to sit for tonight's game as Portland looks to rest starters. It's a rather curious move considering their situation in the standings, but it should come as welcome news to the Nets.

3. X-Factor - The Nets are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.
