The Dallas Mavericks will host the league leading Golden State Warriors on Saturday, and the Mavs are getting points in this one. The Warriors escaped with a victory despite being out-played by the Suns on Thursday, and it looks like Dallas might be catching them at the right time.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Situational/Motivational - The Warriors have already clinched their division, as well as the top spot in the Western Conference. They've won 11 straight and 16 of their last 17, but their last victory against the Suns was hardly convincing. While the Warriors look like a team ready to suffer a let down, the Mavs still need to clinch a playoff spot.
2. Dirk Nowitzki - The 36 year old had a rough start to the season, but he's played very well in recent games, proving he still has plenty left in the tank. He scored 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting in 32 minutes in a loss to Houston on Thursday.
3. X-Factor - The Warriors are 5-14 ATS in their last 19 games playing on 1 days rest.
Selection: This is a play on the Dallas Mavericks (8*)
