(NCAAB) Boston College vs. Virginia Tech,
Point Spread: -1.50 | -105.00 Virginia Tech (Home)
Result: Loss
The Boston College Eagles snapped a nine game losing streak with a home win over N.C. State on Saturday. They still sit in a last place tie with the Hokies, heading into tonight's game at Blacksburg. The visitors could be due for a let down after recording the upset over the weekend, while the Hokies are still hungry for a home win. They played Duke very tough in their most recent home game, coming up just short 91-86 in overtime.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - The Hokies own a winning record overall at home (9-7), while the Eagles are just 1-7 on the road. Virginia Tech has covered the spread in four of it's last five home games.

2. Three-Point Shooting - The Hokies were 13-of-22 (54.5%) from beyond the arc at home against Duke last week, and they are shooting 41% from three-point range over their last five games.

3. X-Factor - Freshman guard Jalen Hudson scored 23 points on 9-of-20 shooting in the loss to Duke, but then failed to record a point playing just 14 minutes at Virginia over the weekend. We should expect Hudson to get more playing time tonight.
