The Coach's Afternoon SURE SHOT
(NHL) Detroit vs. Nashville,
Money Line: -152.00 Nashville (Home)
Result: Loss
The Nashville Predators had a six game home winning streak snapped Thursday as the Wild prevailed 4-2 at Bridgestone Arena. I think they'll bounce back with a win Saturday as they'll host a worn-out Detroit Red Wings team for an early game of hockey.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Detroit's Cruel Schedule - The Red Wings have been on the road since Feb 18 as they're closing out a mentally and physically challenging six game road trip today. They're just off three close games in California and this will be their third game in four days.

2. Home Cookin' - No other team in the NHL can match the Preds 26-4-1 home record this season. They've won five of the last seven meetings at home with Detroit and the visitors have won only two of their last eight on the road playing a team with a home winning percentage above .600.

3. X-Factor - The visitors are likely to be without their captain and main man Henrik Zetterberg for a fourth consecutive game.

Selection: This is a play on the Nashville Predators (8*)
