(NHL) Detroit vs. San Jose,
Money Line: -122.00 San Jose (Home)
Result: Loss
The San Jose Sharks have slipped all the way to 10th in the Western Conference, two points behind eighth place Calgary. They host Detroit tonight, and they may be catching the Wings at the right time. This is Detroit's third game in four nights, at the end of a long West Coast road trip. They've lost back-to-back games at Anaheim and L.A.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - The Sharks are looking to snap a six game losing streak at home in San Jose, but they have won five of their last six at home versus Detroit.

2. Goaltending - Backup Jonas Gustavsson was sharp in a 1-0 loss at L.A., stopping 26-of-27 shots. Jimmy Howard has struggled though, surrendering 16 goals while losing three of his last five appearances.

3. X-Factor - The Wings will be without their captain again on Thursday, as Henrik Zetterberg is expected to miss a third straight game with a head injury.

Selection: This is a play on the San Jose Sharks
