The Coach's NHL ICE BREAKER
(NHL) Minnesota vs. Nashville,
Money Line: -151.00 Nashville (Home)
Result: Loss
The Nashville Predators sit at the top of the NHL standings, and the majority of their wins have come on home ice. The Preds host Minnesota tonight, and the Wild have been surging since the arrival of Devan Dubnyk from Arizona. We get a great price on the Predators here, and I think Minnesota's run has to come to an end at some point, likely tonight in the Music City.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - The Predators 26 home wins is more than any other team in the league. They've won six straight at home, out-scoring opponents 22-9 in those games.

2. Offensive Firepower - The Wild have been winning mostly due to strong goaltending and solid defense, but scoring goals is still an issue for this team. That's not the case for the Predators, who scored five goals in their last game, and average three goals per game on the season.

3. X-Factor - Predators star netminder Pekka Rinne has owned the Wild in his career, going 8-2-1 with a 1.79 GAA in his last 11 against the Wild.

Selection: This is a play on the Nashville Predators(8*)
