The Coach's Thurs Night TNT TOTAL DOMINATOR
(NBA) San Antonio vs. LA Clippers,
Total: 204.00 | -102.00 Over
Result: Loss
Total: 204.00 | -102.00 Over

All Star weekend came at a good time for the Clippers, who lost four of six prior to the break. The Clips will host the defending champions San Antonio in their first game back on Thursday, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see both teams show a little rust after a long layoff. The Spurs have won four of the last five meetings in this series, and they are the favorite here tonight. I've got my sights set on the total, as I expect this to be a low scoring affair.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Spurs have seen the total fall short of the number in each of their last four road games, and the under has trended at a rate of 21-7-1 in the last 29 meetings at the Staples Center.
2. Injuries - Blake Griffin leads the Clippers in scoring averaging 22.5 points per game, but he remains sidelined after having surgery on his elbow. In the meantime he will be replaced by Spencer Hawes, who averages just 6.4 points per game.
3. X-Factor - Kawhi Leonard is the Spurs leading scorer even though he averages just over 15 points per game. He comes in ice cold averaging in single-digits and shooting just 26.8% over his last three games.
Selection: This is a play on the Spurs@Clippers to go UNDER the total (8*)
